Lower Foothills Ranch Remodel
An untouched 1950’s custom ranch three bedroom, two bathroom home in a quiet ‘off the beaten path’ neighborhood. In this renovation, the inspiration was keeping as many unique ’50s details as possible. Kitchen cabinets were repurposed to include stainless hinges and knobs.
All flooring was removed and polished colored, and sealed. An unusually large laundry room was split in two to make an office space off the dining area. The dropped ceiling was removed to expose a beam with hunky hardware.
The living room window was replaced and made taller to take in the panoramic vista.
The master suite bath was microscopic, so a hall closet was added, and French-style pocket doors were added to give a feeling of space. All sliders were removed, and glass-paneled entries were added to update the overall look.
